James Johannes is a seasoned soccer coach with a deep-rooted connection to the Quad Cities. A graduate of Alleman Catholic High School in 2004, James’s coaching journey began on the fields where he once played as a student. His coaching career took off as the Boys Junior Varsity Head Coach at Alleman High School right after graduation.
Over the years, James has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to developing young talent and fostering team spirit. He served as the Head Coach for Quad Cities United and then took on roles at Rock Island High School, coaching both boys and girl's junior varsity teams. His tenure as Boys Varsity Head Coach at Alleman High School solidified his reputation as a dedicated and skilled leader.
Since 2014, James has been a Head Coach for many boys’ and girls’ teams at Quad Cities Rush. Additionally, his role as Head Coach for Iowa ODP since 2019 highlights his expertise and influence in the broader soccer community. James’s credentials, including USSF National C and Level 1 Goalkeeping certifications, underscore his commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in coaching.
